Core Values & Beliefs
Below are some key concepts that underpin my approach to coaching, health and life.
To heal others and the planet, we must first heal ourselves.
We are literally starved of connection. Food can and will not meet that need, but will temporarily numb the discomfort.
In order to adopt new habits and create the life we want, we need to know exactly what it is we want in detail.
We need to bring pleasure back into eating. Eat with attention and intention and learn to be drawn to foods that bring you actual pleasure.
Desires come from unmet needs – let us identify those needs and meet the underlying need in a way that feels good. Pleasure and desire are actually allies of health – not the enemy!
Nourishment comes in many unexpected and mysterious forms beyond food.
The desire for real nourishment leads us searching outside of ourselves. After time, this hunger will lead us on an inward journey with surprising outcomes.
Focus on the journey, not the destination. We can’t control the past or future, only the present. Embrace it, enjoy it, live mindfully and with awareness.
While acknowledging and healing our past is essential, real change occurs when we direct our focus not on what we are born with, but rather, what we do with that equipment.
Once we have established our life’s vision, we are able to work through subconscious and unconscious beliefs and thoughts, reframe our thinking, and work through our past without lingering it in.
The female body is a reflection of nature and the earth. We can self-nourish through our connection with our inner being, the earth and our guidance system
The body is naturally self-healing and works to create health daily
